Mr. Vassilev has been active in the smart card industry for more than a decade. In the past he has worked as a Principal Architect of the smart card division of Schlumberger and later of Gemalto in North America. Mr. Vassilev holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Texas A&M University. He writes a blog on information security.
